JAMMU, Mar 18: Deputy Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) Adv Purnima Sharma today inspected of NBCC's work in ward number 1.
During the inspection, Deputy Mayor noted that the lanes were in worst condition, also in the lanes, work has not been completed properly, the tile patches and manholes were unsymmetrical. The bags of rubble of the construction work were placed on the sides of the lanes and were not removed.
At the site of completed NBCC's works, the construction materials were dumbed everywhere, the lanes were not properly repaired due to which the locals were suffering a lot.
After bringing up all the nuisance in the notice of General Manager NBCC cause by the NBCC's contractors in the ward , Adv. Purnima Sharma, Deputy Mayor Jammu directed NBCC'S General Manager to get all the rubble removed and all the faulty work repaired within a week's time without any delay. If anymore inconvenience is caused to the locals strict action will be taken against the defaulters.
