JAMMU, Mar 18: Riya Bakshi of Fencing and Shikha Bhau of Judo both the student of Cluster University of Jammu have won the Gold and Bronze Medal respectively in Khelo India University games 2020 held at KIIT, Bubanshwar, Odisha and also cluster University of Jammu remains in 3rd position in Fencing (Women) Competition.
Both the players were felicitated by Prof. Anju Bhasin, Vice Chancellor, Cluster University of Jammu along with Registrar, Dr. Jatinder Khajuria, Dean Students Welfare, Dr.Twinkle Suri and Sports Coordinator, Dr. Vinod Bakshi lauded for their brilliant performance in the Khelo India University games 2020.
The Vice Chancellor lauded the spectacular performance of both the players who have brought laurels to the university as ambassadors and also assured unyielding support to promote sports in the university which shall further accentuate sense of achievement, camaraderie and national pride of our young learners. |
