Early Times Report

Jammu, April 22: President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today appealed to the Prime Minister and Union Home Minister to issue strict instructions to those states in which trajectory of Covid-19 has seen an exponential increase.
“Quoting the WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom who warned that “the worst is yet ahead of us” in the coronavirus outbreak, raising new alarm bells about the pandemic just as many countries are beginning to ease restrictive measures”, Shastri said in a statement today that lockdown alone would not end this menace, it’s strict enforcement and obedience by the people are also required.
Praising the efforts of the Central govt. and the JKUT administration led by LG GC Murmu, Shastri emphasized that they are leaving no stone unturned to contain Covid-19.Further, he applauded the yeoman service of Doctors, Paramedical staff, Paramilitary forces, JKP, NGO’S, Volunteers and others.
He hoped that the vaccine developed by Cadilla and CSIR named “Sepsivac” which is under trials would provide relief to corona affected patients and wished that ICMR would become the first organization of the world to develop a full-fledged Covid-19 vaccine.
