Conditional abrogation of art 370, a state injustice with OBCs: AICBU
4/22/2020 9:30:06 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, April 22: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) today said that the Govt of UT of Jammu and Kashmir has formally ordered for reservation policy with only 4 percent quota for socially under privileged classes (OSCs) inspite of strong representations to LG, Chairman and vice chairman of NCBC.
How the govt reduced 20 percent RBA quota to 10 percent has not mentioned the criteria and how it enhanced the reservation share to other social castes from 2 percent to 4 percent instead of 27 percent has also not been mentioned.
Reservation to pahari speaking people residing in only four districts has gone upto 4 percent in proportionate to their population where as the population of OBCs throughout the state is only 4 percent, is a wonder struck matter and is a matter of common sense which clearly shows about a handy work done under the policy “Dishonesty is the best policy”.
What policy BJP adopted in the abrogation of art 370 was a great planned programme laced with a false propaganda which too started with in from the parliament itself where home minster Amit Shah’s statement that 52 percent state’s population belonging to OBCs would be more beneficiaries was not matching with the bill of abrogation of art 370 being passed in the parliament which protects the reservation Act of 2004 under which OBCs (called OSCs ) had no status of OBCs and only 2 percent reservation was being done, a policy of predecessors like congress, NC and PDP who remained the most treacherous.
Those who shared their views were Mushtaq Sadiqui state youth President, all three incharge of central Kashmir Hanief Ahanger, Bisharat Najar of north Kashmir A D Sajad Kumar from south Kashmir, Mohd Rashid Fouji from Poonch, Mohd Akbar Ahanger from Kishtwar, Rakesh Anil Kashyap and Vishal Salgotra from Kathua, Gurnam Singh from Bishnah, Krishan, Sunil and Jagdev from Udhampur, Sonia Verma state women president, all executive members including M R Bangotra Retd CEO and general secretary of the union.
