PYC demands CBI probe in all appointments made during BJP rule
4/22/2020 11:28:07 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Apr 22: Lambasted the J&K BJP leaders for playing with the future of J&K youth who are already facing unemployment crisis with the abrogation of Article 370, the J&K Pradesh Youth Congress (PYC) demanded a CBI probe into all the appointments made during BJP rule.
In a statement issued here on Wednesday, Uday Chib, President J&K PYC said that conversation of former J&K Governor Satya Pal Malik has clarified that J&K BJP has playing a vital role in destroying the future of J&K youth.
Uday mentioned that Malik had earlier during an interview to Times Now on October 27, dropped a bombshell that as many as 582 candidates recruited by the Jammu and Kashmir Bank were replaced with the political appointees, recommended by the leaders from every constituency under the then BJP government in J&K. Chib urged Malik to make public the names of politicians and bureaucrats involved in the backdoor appointments. Uday alleged that since 2014 BJP came in power in the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir state several thousands of backdoor appointments had been made in the various branches of J&K Bank and other government departments without notifying advertisements for the posts or following the formal recruitment process. He said that there were reports that several candidates were illegally doled jobs in the bank on the recommendations of the former BJP legislators at the cost of meritorious and deserving candidates who were covertly divested of the opportunity to compete.
Regarding the political appointees replacing 582 genuine youth selected by J&K Bank on monetary and extraneous considerations, he said that not only the J&K Bank but almost all the government departments had witnessed thousands of illegal backdoor appointments including DRWs and contractuals during its tenure of the ‘dirty coalition’ in blatant disregard of prescribed rules, procedures and guidelines.
Uday demanded a CBI probe into all appointments made during the previous BJP rule, claiming that several thousand blue-eyed candidates were appointed in government services in violation of rules.
