| Police, Army launch search op on Jammu-Pathankot NH in Kathua | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 27: Police and Army on Monday launched a joint operation along Jammu-Pathankot in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Acting on tip-off about some suspected movement along the highway in Dayalachak and Hiranagar areas, police and army launched a joint operation. A police official said that police and army launched a search operation in Tranah nallah, Dayalachack and Hiranagar areas of District Kathua whereas border road was seized completely.
No vehicular movement on Jammu - Pathankot National Highway was allowed earlier following inputs about suspicious movement.
"The traffic was restored later and searches were in progress in the bordering belts," they said adding that nothing has been established so far. |
