11 fresh positive cases in North Kashmir, one village declared as Red Zone

BARAMULLA, May 26: Eleven fresh positive cases were reported in North Kashmir districts, three have recovered, while as one village has been declared as Red Zone and 30 shops have been sealed for violating prohibitory orders in Baramulla today.
The district wise details of Covid-19 said that Baramulla has six fresh positive cases, 41 are active positive cases, Bandipora has four fresh positive cases, 11 are active positive cases while as two have recovered and in Kupwara district one fresh positive case and 96 are active positive cases.
Where as one more village of Baramulla district was declared as Red zone today, an order vide no: DBM/PS/C-19/RZ/1619-23 dated 26/05/2020, issued by DDMA/District Magistrate Baramulla said that, the Mohalla/Pati Mirangund Jagir of tehsil Baramulla is notified as Red Zones and consequently there shall be no inward or outward movement of any person/s from this Mohalla/Pati and people shall stay indoors as there will be complete lockdown in the said Mohalla/Pati. Further the entire village Nowpora Jagir of tehsil Baramulla and new colony Jahangirpora (Shrakwara) tehsil Wagoora are declared as buffer zone and the inhabitants of these villages’ areas shall strictly restrict their movement and shall not allow relatives/visitors to visit their homes during restrictions, reads an order copy.
Meanwhile, DC Baramulla inspects several locations of main market Baramulla in order to take review of the implementation of various COVID-19 related advisories especially observing lockdown and other related guidelines.
On the occasion, DC sealed about 30 shops for violating the prohibitory orders and warned of strict legal against those indulging in lockdown violations. He also rebuked some persons for not using face masks and warned them to use the same failing which shall render legal action against the violators.
