GDC Billawar organizes series of online quizzes

Kathua , June 7 Keeping in view the recent guidelines by the University of Jammu to conduct the final examinations of Semester 6th students in this current session due to the Covid19 pandemic, Govt. Degree College Billawar organized series of online quizzes in the subjects of Physics, Computer Application and Education. The quizzes were organized with the aim to make the students familiar about the scheme of examination.
A large number of students from more than 35 colleges within the UT of Jammu and Kashmir participated in the quizzes. Also, participation was recorded from other institutes outside the UT of Jammu and Kashmir. Participants who secured marks above a preset benchmark were awarded with e-certificates. Prof. Raj Kumar (HOD Computer Sciences), Prof. Rakesh Sharma (HOD Physics), Dr. Arun Sharma (A.P. Physics) and Prof.
Anil Verma (HOD Education) acted as online coordinators in their respective subjects.
The whole process was completed under the overall supervision of Prof. Sunil Uppal, Principal GDC Billawar and after the successful completion of online quizzes; he praised the role played by all the faculty members associated with the process.
