  JAMMU, June 7: Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC) has urged the central government to provide immediate financial help to poor displaced KP families who are at the verge of starvation. Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC stated that the poor displaced Kashmiri Pandit families, are  facing  unimaginable hardships while living  in  different parts of India as the Centre and the Govt. of various UTs and states have miserably failed to take care of both  their lives and livelihoods from the last thirty years in particular during these days of lock down period, when they were already facing existential hardship due to displacement, high unemployment and growth recession, are now totally pauperized. He said that these poor displaced KP families including over age unemployed youths and others  are in  the struggle to survive, who have  lost their land, orchards and business, which was a big support to them at their previous locations in the valley, presently not able  to cope up with day today life saving expenses, rent, electricity charges, medicine, treatment, children education and other expenditures. Kundan Kashmiri further stated that the recent big claims of Rs 20 lakh crore stimulus package has benefited nothing to these poor KP migrants families who seems to be out of this  economic  relief  package  announced by  the Central government. Kundan Kashmiri further cautioned the Government that if it will not  give heed to them at the earliest.then there  is possibility of emerging the alarming situation for displaced poor families like what happened a couple of years back at a migrant  camp at Jammu where  one displaced KP,  died due to starvation.
