Four test positive in Kishtwar, all in quarantine

Jammu, June 9: Kishtwar District that has witnessed least number of COVID 19 positive today witnessed four more positive cases with all travel history and already in quarantine.
As per the details available with Early Times, among the four positive cases, a father son duo from Padder with travel history from Delhi today tested positive in 3rd test attempt after their first misplaced while 2nd test sample found not fit while their two other family members of Padder including son and wife found out to be negative. All were kept in KV quarantine center. The 3rd positive case is said to be local and had travel history from Kishtwar and was quarantine in Government Degree College quarantine center. The 4th COVID 19 positive is an employee of GREF and was already in quarantine center at Shalimar unit of GREF with travel history from Rajasthan. With today’s fresh four positive cases, Kishtwar District overall reported 21 cases with 17 active cases and four person including mother, son duo from Dachhan recovered from the disease.
Speaking to Early Times, senior official in health department inform that all the family contacts of Thakrie patient including his wife and newly born baby found out to be negative and were sent back to home while another pregnant lady had been found negative added that beside these the 2nd test of four COVID positive patients also found out to be negative. He said that the 3rd sample of these four COVID positive has also been collected and if they too found out to be negative, they will be released from hospital. Meanwhile another senior health official told Early Times that around 200 persons were released from quarantine centers in last two days he said that around 60 persons will be released today from various quarantine centers in Kishtwar District.
