Jammu, Aug 16: G. G. M. Sc. College under the patronage of Talat Parvez Rohilla , Commissioner Secretary to Higher Education Govt. Of UT of Jammu & Kashmir organised a national level “ Mini Workshop cum webinar on E content Development” today for the college teachers of union territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
More than 900 participants including Principals of various Govt. Degree Colleges were present during the webinar. The resource persons threw light on different aspects of making e content. The first speaker was prof. Sankait Gupta of Govt. Degree College Rajouri. His topic was “ Recording of video lectures for the students in e content mode”. Prof Sankait Gupta discussed in a very nice way to use different applications for making e videos and gave a live demonstration of the use of these applications.
He also explained the use and limitation of each application in a simple and lucid way.
The second lecture of the session was delivered by Prof. K. Thyagu from central university of Kerala. His topic was “ Management of e content”. In his lecture he explained various online platforms which can be used for management of the e content and aspects of different apps to keep the students in the interaction mode and involve them in different activities. He gave the live demo of how to adopt various simulation in the form of caricatures which can act as the learning tool for the students and various other online activities which could be used to take the student on the online platform in the days of pandemic when real classroom teaching is not possible. |
