Unending casualties of brave hearts has exposed the saffron regime: Harsh

EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Aug 18: Expressing grave concern over the growing incidents of militancy in J&K, Harsh Dev Singh chairman JKNPP and former Minister today accused the central government for its failure to curb Pak sponsored terror in the erstwhile State despite having taken control of law and order in the new UT.
He said martyrdom of four security men yesterday in North Kashmir should serve an eye-opener for a narcissistically self flagellated regime indulging in incessant chest thumping with vague, nauseating claims of having controlled militancy in J&K post Article 370 abrogation.
Paying rich tributes to the Army and security personnel who laid down their lives while fighting armed insurgents in the valley, Singh said that the nation shall always remain grateful to the brave hearts who had made supreme sacrifices for their country and its flag, said Singh. He was addressing the new entrants who joined Panthers Party today at Jammu. A silence of two minutes was observed to pay obeisance to the brave hearts and to pray for peace to the departed souls.
Speaking on the occasion, Harsh Dev Singh castigated the BJP led govt at the centre for its failure to check ever increasing infiltration from across the border despite its loud sloganeering and incessant chest thumping. “The BJP rule has witnessed an alarming increase in the number of killings of our soldiers in militant attacks for which it was answerable to the nation. With unprecedented loss of precious lives of our brave soldiers during the last 4-5 years, the BJP has proved an utter failure in checking Pak sponsored terror. There have been several dastardly fatal attacks on our soldiers with Uri and Pulwama episodes having shaken the conscience of the nations across the globe which regretfully continue to occur post state’s re-organization and article 370 abolishment as well. And rather than ceiling the extremely porous borders and honouring its commitments of peace and stability in the region, the BJP led govt had been exploiting the sacrifices of the brave hearts for promoting its political interests”, lamented Singh.
Prominent among those who joined NPP included Ramesh Gupta, Raj Kumar, Sandeep Singh, Meet Singh, Rajveer Singh, Lucky, Gagandeep Singh, Gurdeep Singh, Kaka besides others.
