                    | KPC expresses annoyance against Govt for failing to resolve issues | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 18: Pandits Conference ( KPC ) held meeting under the leadership of Kundan Kashmiri expressed annoyance and dismay for complete failure of the Govt. towards displaced Kashmiri Pandits as well as ignoring and isolating them by the present Govt.at the center and the JK UT. Kudan Kashmiri, President KPC stated that It is strange and astonishing that in their recent speeches on Independence day neither new Lt.Governor JK nor Prime Minister of India spoke a word about victim Pandits in exile from the last 31 years about their permanent rehabilitation as well as on their other grave problems being facing at different place in the country. He said that New Lt. Governor JK no doubt announced five guiding principles to deal with the UT of Jammu and Kashmir and focused in general on peace and development as well as about ongoing diabolic acts of violence and targeting of Sarpanchs and mainstream political activists and highlighted their sacrifices for defending the idea of India. Recalled the services and the sacrifices of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Central Para-military Forces and Army jawans ,and expressed gratitude to them for ensuring freedom and integrity of the nation. But unfortunately he ( Lt. Governor JK) advertently or inadvertently not spoke anything about sacrifices, suffering and problems of victim displaced KP,s in exile. Nor spoke about their long waited permanent rehabilitation("One place settlement at the land of Kashyap in the valley) and other grave issues. |
