| Director Horticulture tours Dori Dager | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 18: Director Horticulture Jammu Ram Savak made an extensive tour of far flung areas of Dager Panchayat of Khour block.
During the tour he was apprised about the progresses being made in various developmental activities in the field. He also briefed the orchardists of Dori Dager, Panya and adjoining villages about the various schemes being implemented by the Department of Horticulture, Jammu and avail maximum benefits so as to achieve the goal of doubling the income of farmers especially by adopting scientific and Hi-tech approach towards horticulture.
Speaking on the occasion Sarpanch Dager Bali Ram also appealed the farmers to take maximum benefit of various horticultural schemes so as to enhance their income. However, the Director instructed the concerned officers/officials to work with zeal and dedication and left no stone unturned to achieve the targets allotted to them for the year 2020-21 under different Horticulture Developmental schemes.
Present on the occasion were Naib Sarpanch Shishu Pal, Panches Kewal Krishan, Nemo Devi and other Panches of Dager and nearby Panchayats. During the tour the Director was accompanied by the Chief Horticulture Officer Jammu, DLSMS Jammu besides Horticulture Development Officer Khour.
