Woman with 3 year old daughter goes missing mysteriously

Jammu, Aug 20: A woman along with her three-year-old girl child went missing while returning home from her parental home Chenani in Udhampur district.
According to the sources Neelam Devi, wife of Shankar Das, age 35, went missing from Udhampur.
Shankar Das said, “My wife had gone to stay with her mom dad house in Chenani (Maadda) for a few days on Rakshabandan. After being there for about 10 to 12 days, she left for home with her sister and daughter in the morning for Majalata”, he said, adding that when Neelam Devi did not reach home till late evening, the family members were worried and they called her number and got the number switch off.
“I contacted my in-laws and asked about Neelam Devi, I was surprised when they told me that she had left for home in the morning. When I contacted Neelam’s sister who was accompanying her, she said that Neelam had stopped in Udhampur for a medical checkup of her baby”, he added.
“No trace of Neelam Devi was found even after searching everywhere, after waiting for one day, I reached Majalta police station to report his wife missing, but my report was not writtenas she went missing from Udhampur”, he said, adding that however, a missing complaint latter lodged in Udhampur Police Station on 15th August.
“Nothing has happened yet since August 15, the day Udhmapur Police registered the complaint, I appeal the masses, if anyone has any information contact me on these numbers 9858189209 or 6005851102”, he said.
