JAMMU, Aug 20: Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu has honored the Civil Defence Volunteers by presenting of mementoes with maintaining social distance for their selfless and dedicated services at Airport Jammu during epidemic Covid -19.
While speaking on the occasion, Shashi Thakur, Dy.SP, Deputy Controller Civil Defence Jammu, Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden, Thakur Ranjit Singh, Deputy Chief Warden have appreciated the selfless services provided by the Civil Defence Volunteers deployed at Air Port, Jammu, donated blood to the needy persons, get Medicines and Rations for the general public from local market who are unable to come out due to Covid – 19 and also their services during the distribution of Ration to the needy people of Jammu city by the Warden service of Civil Defence Jammu. Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu thanked all the Civil Defence Volunteers served during Covid -19, appreciated their services and ask to perform duties assigned to them in future with same dedication and also follow up the guidelines issued from time to time by the Govt. of UT J&K with regard to COVID - 19.
