| AJKLTF Doda demands redressal of issues of teaching fraternity | | | Early Times Report
Doda, Aug 22: A meeting of teachers of District Doda was convened under the banner of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Fedration (AJKLTF) affiliated with Akhil Bhartiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh (ABRSM) District unit Doda through virtual mode to discuss the burning issues of teaching fraternity and to have deliberate discussions over Principal Secretary Asgar Samoons defamatory comments on teachers of J&K UT.
The meeting was presided over by Mohan Singh Parihar Distt President and Sanjay Sharma District Secretary of the organization and larger number of teachers of different zones of the District attended the meeting and put forth their views over functioning of School Education Department in J&K UT.
AJKLTF Doda unit in an unanimous voice condemned the derogatory remarks of Principal secretary of school Education department of J&K against the teaching fraternity especially at a time when teachers are performing their duties at Quarantine centres, Check posts, Nakas , Conducting door to door Health surveys very honestly and sincerely and working as Corona-Warriors besides taking online classes, distributing MDM ration/ Books/ Supplementary study material /School Bags to students door to door .
It is not right to defame the whole teaching fraternity and suggested to expose the details of the teachers who are on attachments and also who ordered these attachments. AJKLTF demanded strict action against those teachers who remained on attachments since long and not performing their duties as well as the Officers who shield them should also be punished .
