Ramanagar, Aug 23: Govt. Degree College Ramnagar is organizing 7 days International Workshop on “ Career Awareness and Role of Physical Education for Healthy Lifestyle” in collaboration with PEFI India w.e.f. 23-08-2020 to 29-08-2020 under the guidance and supervision of the worthy Sh. Talat Parvez Rohella, the Commissioner of Higher Education Department, J&K.
Dr Udhey Bhanu, Principle of the Govt. Degree College Ramnagar who welcomed the participants and resource persons and also congratulated the entire team for organizing such a fruit full event especially at the time covid-19.
The Chief Guest of the Program was Dr. A.K. Uppal, Former Vice Chancellor of Jiwaji University, Dean LNIPE and working president of PEFI and also a keynote speaker for the workshop. He has authored 24 books on Physical Education and sports. He has also written 400 research papers and is a recipient of Life Time Achevenet award and today he spoke on the topic of “Fitness and Wellness”. Concept and Development.
Mr. Mukesh Kumar, organizing secretary of the program briefed about the schedule of the workshop and also introduced resource person with participants. The resource persons (Academician and Technician) in this 7 days International workshop from various institutes across the globe are Dr. Dinesh Kumar, Sh. Vimal Kishore, Dr Arjun Singh, Dr. Rakesh Tomar, Dr. Sonesh Punia and Prof Vivek Pandey.
Dr. Piyush , founder and secretary of PEFI has given the inaugural speech on the first day of the workshop.
More than 1000 participants from the various institutes across the country have attended the live session today of this International Workshop.
