| National Sports Day: GDC Nowshera organises online Quiz Competition | | |

RAJOURI, Aug 31: Department of Physical Education and Sports of Government Degree College, Nowshera today organized a National Level quiz competition on the theme “Physical Education and Sports” to mark the National Sports Day. The objective of the event was to aware the students to keep them physically fit and mentally strong by doing exercise daily and taking part in sports. A large number of students of different Colleges/Universities participated in the quiz. Rayaz Ahmed of GDC, Nowshera bagged the first position while Sakshi Sharma of Central University, Mehak Sharma of Cluster University Jammu & Rohit Sharma of University of Jammu shared the second position. The third position was shared by Manik Kumar Sharma of GECT Jammu and Versha Sharma of GDC, Nowshera. The event was judged Dr. Akhil Khajuria (PTI) under the guidance and supervision of Dr. Surinder Kumar, Principal GDC Nowshera. |
