Jammu, Aug 31: A social activist D S Ranotra has questioned the credibility of EVM machines and said that the EVMs consist of buttons, memory chip, software program, electronic board and result display unit, which could be manipulated which resulted into killing of democratic process. There have been many proofs of EVM tampering on social media to prove that EVMs could be tempered. Furthermore, the election commission of India should not have any problem going back to the ballot paper elections system and to win the trust of Indian citizens and most importantly to save the Indian democracy, he said. |
