Jammu, Sep 4: Continuing and endeavoring their spree of initiating steps for welfare of most poor & down trodden people of Paddar area, the Paddar Welfare Front distributed 10 kgs of rice, free of cost to around 30 widows & BPL families amid words of appreciations from general public as also the administration.
The ration was donated by “Global Gandhi family” through Padam Shree Awardee Dr. S.P. Verma. Mohinder Rana, Front President, thanked Verma and urged upon him to kindly arrange around 200 Sewing Machines for most BPL widows & Ladies of the area, so that they could earn their own bread & butter in a dignified manner. Present on the occasion the prudent persons of the area as also the Panchayat representatives including Lambardars & Chowkidars etc hailed the selfless initiatives of the Welfare Front & assured them of full support in their endeavoring spirit of service to the poor.
Addressing the gathering present on spot Mohinder Singh Rana, President of the Paddar Welfare Front said that masses in the remote & hilly areas in particular, have to wake up from deep slumber, struggle and fight for their due rights as pounced by LARD KRISHNA thousands of years ago so that the perpetuality of discrimination, bias, neglect and step motherly treatment comes to end, he said and questioned as to why work for extraction of world famous Sapphire Mines is not started to & why DOOL-HASTI hydel Project has been kept in doldrums for more than several decades beyond our understanding ?
