| DC constitutes committee to probe illegal construction near Poonch Fort | | ET Impact! | |

EARLY TIMES REPORT
POONCH, Sep 4: Taking cognizance of a news report regarding illegal construction/encroachment near Poonch Fort published in Early Times, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Poonch has constituted a committee to verify the matter.
The team will comprise of Chief Executive Officer of Poonch Development Authority Tanveer Ahmed, Tehsildar Haveli Anjum Bashir Khatak and Chief Executive Officer Municipal Committee Poonch Guru Ram.
The team would verify the matter deeply and furnish the detailed report to the DDC Poonch at an earliest.
It is in place to mention here that the Early Times had reported that few people were trying to encroach some land near Poonch Fort for the construction of a pathway.
Meanwhile, civil society of Poonch has hailed the factual reporting of Early Times and the decision taken by the district administration in this regard. |
