Jammu, Oct 2: In a joint press conference by Socio-Religious & Retired Forums of SC, ST, OBC & Religious Monitories, the leaders of these organizations criticized Central, Uttar Pradesh and JK Government as well in view of sharp and uncontrolled rise in atrocities against SC, ST, OBC & Religious Minorities in whole country.
The atrocities started during the very first tenure of BJP led by Narendra Modi when Dalits were attacked in Gujrat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and many other states. Now the atrocities have engulfed UP which is ruled by BJP under Chief Minister Aditya Nath Yogi who is staunch anti SC,ST,OBCs and Minorities as per his previous record. The gruesome rape and murder of a Dalit Girl from Hathras (UP) by upper caste Thakur goons has shown real face of BJP. The girl was raped, her tongue was cut and the backbone was severely broken on 14th September and she lost her life on 29th September. The leaders unanimously condemned the gruesome rape & murder of the Dalit girl and demanded immediate change of Yogi as CM as he has miserably failed to safeguard the lives of common man and law and order situation in UP has become worse. |
