Vijaypur, Oct 2: Annoyed being ignored, many PRI members of block Vijaypur boycotted the statewide third phase of back to village.
At Least five Sarpanches and Panches of Dhamour and Jakh panchayat of block Vijaypur boycotted the back to village program.
The officer reached to hear the problem of the people but the Panchayat representative did not attend nor did the people reach, the nodal officer of the programme said that when they reached the school of a panchayat to hear the problem.
“He approached the Sarpanch and Panch the officer”, Panch Anu Gupta, while talking to journalists, he told that when the government started the back to village second phase and back to village third phase, it was futile exercise and yield not result on ground.
He said that the Panchayat does not yet have its own Panchayat house to listen to the problems of the people. He said that many times the officers were made aware of this but the issue remained un-addressed. “People of Panchayat do not participate in this, we also boycotted this program”, he added.
