Vijaypur, Oct 12: People of the village Gura Salathia protested strongly against the Health Department in the hospital premises due to lack of doctors at Gurha Salathia ( PHC) Primary Health Center in the area.
The protest was organized under the supervision of social worker Sudarshan Salathia. During this, Sudarshan Singh Salathia, while talking to Media Person , said that our Kandi area and about dozens of villages here are connected to this beloved health center like Kamala, Uttarbahni, Nagrota, Badwal, Garh Mandi where there is a number of about 20 thousand. About 40 years ago, a primary health center was set up by the government so that people of the area could get facilities in the village itself. But now for the last several years, there is a huge shortage of doctors. Many doctors have been transferred and those who do not come on time.
Due to which people are studying to be a conduit for healthy conditions. He said that when a patient of the village reaches there, only one nurse appears.
Due to which patients have to go to private clinic to Vijaypur. He has demanded from Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha that he should pay attention to this and doctors should be posted at Gudha Salathia Health Center to solve the problems of people. He said that if these doctors are not posted soon, people will be forced to block the national highway, which will be administered by responsible itself and the government. |
