10/12/2020 11:26:43 PM

Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 12: The Jammu and Kashmir all Departments Clerical Staff Association (JKADCSA) (Ministerial Federation) extended support to the protest programme call given by the All Departments Casual Labours/Daily Wagers Front i.e. Strike across the Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir against the antagonistic approach of the Government towards the redressal of the genuine grievances of these casual Labours/Daily Wagers.
The leaders of the Association including Jeelani Naik President JKADCSA, Nazir Ahmad Bhat Senior Leader, Gurmeet Singh, Provincial President JKADCSA Jammu Ashish Sharma Senior Vice Provincial President JKADCSA Jammu, Vishoo Bandoo, and others urged upon the Administration for due contemplation of the genuine grievances of the Front. It is imperative to recognize the fact here, that all these Casual Labours/Daily Wagers are working in various departments from pretty long time and have served the Government up to mark with ultimate abilities constantly with the only hope to get the 'job safety, as the most Casual Labours have crossed the upper age limit and are not able to apply other jobs or go from any other livelihood. After the long struggle, the Government vied SRO 520 of 2017 Notified the regularization policy for all such Casual Labous/Daily wagers and it elongated a big relief, but unfortunately the policy remains under locked canon and the process has not been started till date, which has created suffocation and un-certainty among these casual labours.
