Jammu, Oct 12: Som Das a senior social activist and General Secretary of SC Association J&K along with Dr. Rohit Koul, Director and CEO of Peoples Hut Foundation inaugurated "Indra Gandhi Institute of Computer Education" which is a registered institute and affiliated with N.C.T, New Delhi, Government of India The computer training centre has been established by Virji Kachroo who is a well-known social worker and also the Managing Director of Jankalyan Saksharta Mission of J&K.
While interacting with the media Dr Rohit Koul said 'We wish to see every youth in the country gain meaningful employment by acquiring skills and this is a wonderful initiative taken by VirjiKachroo for the youth of J&K UT," He said every youth should get an opportunity to become the architect of New India, India stands tall, strong and is looking at the future with great hope and potential. A diverse country like ours owes its sustenance to the constant efforts by the government to understand its citizens, work with them with common goal of development in mind and inspire them to excel in every field of existence.
While speaking on the occasion Som Das Underlining the importance of computer education, has advised the student community to be sincere and focus on learning new skills and knowledge. The Founder of the Computer training centre Virji Kachroo said 4 such centres have already been established by him and his vision is to make every youth in the UT computer literate.
