In a statement issued here, Vishal Khatri Sabha J&K President Devender Seth welcomed allowing seven thousand local travelers to visit Shri Mata Vaishno Devi every day besides continuing online registration of the yatra as before.
Seth appreciated sincere efforts of CEO of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board Ramesh Kumar for taking pro devotees decisions keeping in view sentiments of Maa Vaishno Devi devotees especially in wake of forthcoming Navratras.
Seth hailed Administration to continue ban on religious processions in wake of Covid-19 scare in J&K.In August, the holy cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi in Jammu & Kashmir’s Reasi district resumed for pilgrimage after nearly 5 months of suspension due to the novel coronavirus. Initially, there were restrictions that included a cap on the number of people allowed to visit the shrine every day, keeping in view the safety guidelines to curb the spread of Covid-19 disease.
