| ABVP welcomes decision of Higher Edu to increase intake capacity | | | Early times Report
Jammu, Oct 18: ABVP Jammu Kashmir State Secretary Mukesh Manhas asserted that the decision of Higher Education to increase intake capacity of constituent Colleges of Cluster University of Jammu is a commendable step taken by the government of Jammu Kashmir .
ABVP has been fighting since 15 days and many of the karyakartas has injured during this agitation . The police has laticharged many times and many of the students and karyakartas has lost their mobile phones, ear rings during this agitation .
He further said the government has not sanctioned one rupees for the infrastructure development of the Constituent College of Cluster University of Jammu and as well newly sactioned degree college which are affiliated to Jammu University.
Government has sanctioned 52 newly degree college which are affiliated to Jammu University .
In these colleges, there is only one or two streams which are arts or commerce .These college are working in one or two rooms .
ABVP has been demanding that in these colleges all streams should be introduced and the infrastructure should be developed .
For this , ABVP will continue the fight . He further said this is the win of the student community , win of every youth win of the people. |
