Delegations call on Corporator Ward No. 60, highlight issues

JAMMU, Oct 18: Delegations of residents of Lane Baba Sidh Goria lane and adjoining areas called on Rajni Bala Corporator Ward 60 and Hari Singh Chib, President DCC Jammu Rural and apprised them of various issues and problems people have been facing.
The delegation, besides other grave issues, apprised them that the tile flooring of Baba Sidh Goria lane at Ward No 60 has been damaged and needs immediate renovation and repair. The area comes under the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corporation and has been in deep slumber. The delegation members said that black topping of inner lanes of both Mohallahs and lanes of Ward No 60 has not been repaired for the last 10 years in spite of our regular representations to the Concerned Executive Engineer Rajash Bhagat of PWD needs immediate attention since it adds to the sufferings of the people. They said several areas are still without street lights and other installed need renovation as these are non-functional. Corporator Rajni and Hari Singh, after keenly hearing the issues and demands put forward by the delegation, assured them that their issues will be taken up with the concerned authorities and an instant redressal will be sought for the same.
