Kulgam killing outcome of PDP, NC's instigation: Kavinder
10/30/2020 10:55:16 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct, 30: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta on Friday accused PDP and NC of propagating false narrative in Valley to instigate people for using violence as a mean to show resistance against recent changes that J&K witnessed due to PM Narendra Modi-led government's efforts to completely unite erstwhile State of J&K with the country.
He said this while chairing a meeting of senior party leaders including Vinay Gupta district president, Vikram Randhawa Ex MLC, Baldev Baloria Chairman JMC, Ankush Gupta general secretary, Jaideep Sharma Corporator, Pt Ashok Khajuria and Rajiv Charak.
Kavinder said that killing of three dedicated workers of BJP in Kulgam on Thursday is outcome of recent provocative statements by PDP and NC leaders who deliberately toed a line to incite passions of people prompting them to commit such dastardly acts to demoralize nationalist populace in the valley. He however maintained that such cowardly acts by the ultras cannot deter the commitment of BJP and its cadre and the party will continue to work for the national cause in J&K and elsewhere in the country come what may.
Paying tribute to the deceased party colleagues including Fida Hussain, Umar Hajam and Haroon Rashid, he made it clear that their sacrifice will not go in vain as they are the valiant ones who stood for India's uprightness. Admitting that death of these committed workers is a setback for the party, Kavinder said that police and other security forces are already on their job to teach a lesson of life to those behind this cowardly act. "Soon the killers will face the law of the land as already police has successfully collected significant leads in the case", he asserted.
He also lambasted rogue nation Pakistan for its dubious role promoting terrorism in India. He alleged that Pakistan is a crook nation which is sponsoring terror and providing all the logistics to terrorists to carry out such kind of attacks in the country. He also recalled Pak sponsored Pulwama attack in which several jawans were martyred and in retaliation Indian Air Force attacked terror camps deep inside Pakistan. "It seems Pakistan has forgotten Balakot air strike and needs another befitting response to mend its ways", he said giving warning to Pakistan for desisting from such misadventures in future.
