DDC Rajouri reviews arrangements for Panchayat Accounts Assistant examination

RAJOURI, Nov2: District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh today convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the arrangements being put in place for smooth conduct of OMR based objective type written examination for Accounts Assistant (AA), Panchayat being conducted by J&K Service Selection Board.
At the outset, the Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Sher Singh, informed that the examination shall be held on November 10th, (Tuesday) from 12 noon to 2 pm at 22 examination centers. It was decided that Superintendents, Deputy Superintendents, and supervisors shall be engaged for the purpose, besides required invigilators as per the requirement of one invigilator for 24 students, while Magistrates shall also be appointed at all 22 examination centers. Moreover, the District Information Officer was asked to provide a list of private videographers who shall be engaged for video coverage of each examination center.
The Chief Education Officer was directed to provide a list of 1000 teachers for randomization to appoint as invigilators. The Assistant Regional Transport Officer was directed to provide vehicles for ferrying of examination papers from the strong room to the examination center. He was also asked to submit a transport plan immediately.
The Health authorities were directed to keep the provision of sanitizers and thermal scanner at the entrance of the examination centers.
Mobile phones and other electronic devices would not be allowed inside the exam center. Candidates would only be allowed to carry two ball-point pens and hall tickets inside the exam hall. It was decided that the PHE department should ensure drinking water facilities at the examination centers. The Additional Deputy Commissioner; Sher Singh, Principal GDC Rajouri; Dr. (Prof). Shakeel Raina, Chief Education Officer, Gulzar Hussain, Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sunil Sharma, Deputy CMO, Dr. Anees Altaf Nabi, Executive Engineer PHE Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed, Executive Engineer PHE Nowshera, Gurcharan Singh, Dy.SP, Vinod, District Information Officer, Narinder Raina, Assistant Regional Transport Officer, Inzar Rana, and representatives of government and private institutions attended the meeting.
