PAGD’s new ‘ally’ Cong should clear stance on Art 370: Kavinder

Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 16: Congress party which is bamboozled after BJP government’s stout and decisive actions in J&K making it integral part of India in real sense with no room left for any ‘ifs’ or ‘buts’ should come out clean on its stand on Article 370.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta in a handout issued here on Monday. “Though, the party has not come out explicitly in favour of rescinding Article 370 but its leaders kneeling before PAGD for taking them onboard has left little scope for imagination as party’s helplessness has become talk of the town with people including its very own workers leaving it and embracing BJP because they have understood that Congress leadership in J&K has started toeing a line which is not in the interest of nation”, the BJP stalwart said, adding that one can well imagine that Congress has chosen that ‘Alliance’ as partner, leaders of which brazenly speak against ‘Tricolour’ and never shirk to insult India and its elected government.
“This is not the first time that rival political parties in J&K have joined hands by compromising their ideology and basic principles in a ‘failed’ bid to counter the gigantic wave of people supporting nationalist BJP and its dedicated leadership. BJP has countered such challenges number of times and broken the backbones of its opponents by ensuring that their bail bonds get forfeited. It was better that before going for such suicidal step these parties should have studied and analyzed such kind of previous experiments as earlier also BJP decimated similar ‘Thugbhandhans’ and Bihar is the recent instance”, he said adding that whatever the Alliance members say or do at this juncture the sincerity with which the BJP leadership has steered the nation in last nearly 5-6 years people are in no mood to even listen to ‘lies’ of PAGD or Congress party leaders and their all plans and dreams will get shattered badly.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that Mehbooba Mufti’s remarks against Tricolour are unpardonable and people who love India will teach PDP a lesson in the coming elections. “The time has gone when the so called Kashmiri leadership used to take advantage of their anti-nation stand. Now, under the changed scenario with people supporting nationalist cause at every instance encasing ‘separatism syndrome’ has almost become impossible whether in Jammu or Kashmir”, he said adding that PAGD members should get ready to face the defeat in all the ensuing elections.
