Early Times Report

Jammu, Nov 16: After Kashmir centric main-stream parties under the banner of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) have announced to join electoral battle for District Development Councils (DDCs) elections, separatist groups of the Valley have also open channel of communication with the Union Government.
Highly placed sources said that track-II diplomacy has already been started because separatist leaders have realized that it was difficult rather impossible to blackmail the present Union government headed by Narendra Modi in which ‘strong’ Amit Shah is Home Minister.
“Many jailed separatist leaders have shown their willingness to open a channel of communication with the Union Government”, sources said and revealed that many separatist leaders have assured that they will not create law and order problems in the Valley.
Sources said separatist leaders were hoping that they will blackmail BJP led NDA government as they used to adopt similar tactics during previous regimes. Earlier some hardcore separatist leaders used to share platforms with senior ministers of the government but after formation of BJP led NDA government not only these separatists were sidelined but some of them were lodged in different jails by opening old cases.
