| NGO celebrates Diwali with orphanage’ children | | |

Jammu, Nov 16: The team of People’s Hut Foundation along with its Directors Dr. Rohit Koul and Vikas Pandita distributed sweets, stationery, and fruits to the children of Balgran orphanage Channi Rama Jammu.
While briefing the media Dr. Rohit Koul who is the Director and CEO of People’s Hut Foundation said this year apart from sweets, stationery, and Fruits for the 120 children under our “Feed the Hungry program” in Balgran Orphanage, the Foundation will also organise a menstrual awareness workshop with free sanitary pads distribution in the near future so as its create menstrual awareness in the campus.
Vikas Pandita, Director and Chief Operating Officer of the foundation said we all have tons of stuff we have not bothered to use. Stuff you never used, stuff you are bored of. Instead of piling it for one more year, donate all that extra stuff to the less privileged. Your little effort will make them smile. An act of kindness does not always require committing time; a generous donation with the tap of an electronic screen can also go a long way. |
