BJP did justice with Gujjar-Bakkarwal, Pahari communities: Ravinder Raina
12/8/2020 11:34:20 PM
EARLY TIMES REPORT

JAMMU, Dec 8: NC, Congress and PDP exploited Gujjar-Bakkarwal and Pahari communities, while the Bharatiya Janata Party acted on all their issues doing justice with them, said BJP President Ravinder Raina. Ravinder Raina was addressing series of meetings at Prat, Bagnoti Handan Nowshera Dabber and Kangri area of District Rajouri along LoC.
Raina said that by eliminating the 70 years of injustice in Jammu and Kashmir till now, the BJP provided basic services to the people of Gujjar Bakkarwal community by providing them all the rights.
He said that political families of National Conference, Congress and People’s Democratic Party have done gross injustice to ST including Gujjars and Bakkarwals of the area. He said that these parties never allowed these communities to rise up for their own and their families benefit.
Raina said that after the repeal of Article 370, communities like Gujjars and Bakkarwals have benefited immensely and the repeal of this law has given the community political reservation in the region. He said that political reservation will help in maintaining their culture and connecting them to the way of living modern life for the upliftment of their community.
He said that it was the BJP, that made sure provisions for them right from education to jobs. BJP ensured that facilities like electricity, water, roads etc. reach their homes and they should not feel disconnected from the society.
Raina further said that the Gujjar-Bakkarwal community should give their valuable votes only to the candidates of the BJP so that all the needs of the community can be worked on more quickly.
