Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu announces Raffle Draw 2020 winners

JAMMU, Dec 13: Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region today organized a mega event to announce the winners of Annual Raffle Draw 2020.
The function was held at Red Cross Bhawan, Kachi Chawni, Jammu. Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma was the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, General Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, J&K Chapter.
The event was attended by the volunteers of Red Cross, general public and staff of Red Cross.
The Chairman (Divisional Commissioner) of Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region announced the result of Red Cross Raffle Draw in presence of all Executive Committee members of Red Cross, Jammu Region and the guests present on the occasion.
Speaking on this occasion, the Div Com thanked all those who generously contributed towards the Raffle Draw, especially Border Security Force, Director School Education, J&K Bank etc, which is the prime fundraising activity of Red Cross.
Verma stressed the need for strengthening this activity so that more and more donors come forward to support Red Cross Movement. He also thanked the volunteers who selflessly supported Indian Red Cross Society during Covid-19.
Vinod Malhotra, Honorary Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region highlighted the objectives and activities of the Society. He also informed about the Raffle Draw details saying that the money collected through this activity would be utilized for providing health care facilities, ration and other relief items to the needy and poor.
The first prize of the Raffle Draw – Maruti Suzuki Baleno Sigma Car went to ticket no. 040844; the second prize of Alto LXI Car went to ticket no.392385; the three winners of the third prize of Royal Enfield Bullet Standard went to ticket no.’s 069961, 724756 & 615045; the five winners of fourth prize of Honda Activa 5G went to ticket no.’s 739859, 725269, 149539, 712928 & 080310; the two winners of fifth prize of I-Phone 11 (64GB) went to ticket no.’s269529 & 466990; three winners of sixth Prize of Window AC went to ticket no.’s194895, 534881 & 498579.
Besides five prizes of 32” LED TVs went to ticket no. 267095, 556758, 024707, 228423 & 601391, while ten prizes of HP i3 processor laptops went to ticket no’s 716925, 243855, 043111, 619617, 715103, 564805, 752295, 082301, 634872 & 436924.
The 10 prizes of Redmi Note 8 smartphones went to ticket no.’s 481784, 120190, 705224, 161751, 476865, 417591, 487514, 613047, 350627 & 106001. Moreover, 10 prizes of Hercules cycles with gear went to ticket no.’s 336584, 019431, 547736, 556133, 402598, 548391, 063358, 731435, 655543 & 711458.
Prominent among those who attended the function were Executive Committee Members, Former Hony. Secretaries of Indian Red Cross Society, Jammu Region, representatives of Border Security Force, ADGP (Armed) J&K, J&K Police and others.
Kifayat Hussain Rizvi, Honorary General Secretary of Indian Red Cross Society J&K Chapter thanked all the participants and expressed his gratitude towards the contributory organizations and general public for supporting this cause of fundraising for the society.
