Jammu, Dec 21: Government Degree College, Nagrota, in collaboration with “GLOBAL PEACE” organized three days workshop w.e.f. 18th to 21st of December, 2020 on the topic “Enhance Acting and Stage Skill.” by the leading Artists of J & K, Mr. Tanveer Dar, leading Actor of Dogri Film “Geetian” which won the Dada Sahib Phalke award and Mohit Sharma, a Renowned Stage and Theatre Actor from Jammu based in Mumbai.
The Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Attar Singh Kotwal, Principal, GDC, Nagrota,. Worthy Principal while speaking on the occasion, apprised the students about the importance of the workshop and encouraged them to participate in such activities. Prof. Anjali Mahajan in her welcome address threw light on the benefits of organizing such workshops as it helps the students to improve their speaking and acting skills. She welcomed the renowned personalities and apprised the students about their professional bakgrounds. Large number of college students participated and showed keen interest in the workshop. Mohit Sharma, Resource Person for the first day of the workshop spoke about his experiences and taught the participants various tips to enhance their spoken and acting skills. Sharma taught various skill of acting and he put more stress on the effective communication. Some students were shortlisted for the practical training for the rest of the two days of the workshop. |
