BJP organizes 'Sushasan Divas' programmes on Atal's birthday

JAMMU, Dec 25: On the occasion of the birthday of former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Jammu and Kashmir BJP organized 'Good Governance Day' (Sushasan Divas) programmes in 128 Mandals across the UT, wherein the party senior leaders led the party activists in remembering Atal ji and his splendid contribution in progress and prosperity of the country.
Later, they joined their party colleagues to listen & watch live telecast of the address by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, related to transfer of new installment of Rs 18000 crores in the bank account of 9 crore farmers under 'PM Kissan Samman Nidhi'.
At party office, Party President Ravinder Raina, along with former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta and former MLA RS Pathania, paid tributes to the tallest and revered leader of BJP.
While paying tributes to Atal Bihari Vajpayes, Ravinder Raina, said that this great leader always worked for Ek Bharat Shresht Bharat and national interests were on his top priorities. Even in opposition, Atal brought honour and respect for the nation at world fora on different occasions, Raina added.
Ashok Koul, in his floral tributes, described Atal as an institution in himself, who inspired the nationalist people to treat nation as first and self at last. At RS Pura, Ravinder Raina, alongwith BJP Vice president Anuradha Charak, Kissan Morcha President Omi Khajuria and former MLC Ramesh Arora, remembered Atal.
Union MoS Dr. Jitendra Singh, former Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh, Vice President Yudhvir Sethi, party leaders Vijay Sharma and Rashpal Verma paid tributes to Atal in different Mandals of Kathua district.
Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Rajya Sabha MP Shamsher Singh Manhas and others took part in programmes in Akhnoor district. In all these programmes, the District Presidents and Mandal Presidents, along with their teams also participated.
