| Opposition misleading farmers: Sat | | |

JAMMU, Dec 25: Following the program of Central leadership of party, BJP unit of Jammu West held a “Kissan Sammelan” on the occasion of birth anniversary of Former PM Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee which is also celebrated as Sushasan Diwas by the BJP every year. The event was special because PM Narendra Modi released Rupees 18000 crores as the instalment of “Kissan Samman Nidhi” covering 9 crore families of farmers across the country. In the same context, BJP Jammu West held a program where hundreds of farmers were listening live to the address of the PM. Senior leader of the party Former State President BJP Sat Sharma (CA) was the Chief Guest in the program which was held under the leadership of District President Munish Khajuria. The program was organized by District President Kissan Morcha Ram Pal Saini. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma (CA) lambasted the callous approach of opposition and said that some innocent farmers are being misled and the new law which has been implemented for the welfare of farmers will change the lifestyle of farmers across the country.
He said BJP under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi brought many revolutionary reforms and the new Agriculture law is a step towards creating modern infra for our farmers across the country. He said whatever rumors are being spread by the opposition indicates that they do not want the farmers of our country to excel. |
