Jammu, Dec 25: Secretary BJP Jammu and Kashmir Rekha Mahajan paid floral tributes to former Indian Prime Minister , BJP Stalwart ,Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Nagrota Mandal and Panchayat Bajalata of District Jammu rural.
Nagrota Mandal President Ajay Sharma, District Secretary and Incharge Nagrota Mandal Sanjay Bakshi, Mahila Morcha State IT and Social Media Incharge Poonam Gupta, Jammu District General Secretary Divya Jain Mahila Morcha Mandal President Renu Sharma Yograj Bali, Panch, BJP workers and farmers of that area were also present there.
Rekha Mahajan said that Atal Bihari Vajpayee the great statesman who was a strong pillar of Indian politics. His policies and leadership qualities moved the country towards a rapid and iconic path of development.He was a member of the Indian Parliament for over five decades. Vajpayee was among the founders of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS) of which he was the president from 1968 to 1972. “Known for his oratory skills, Vajpayee was also a poet and a compassionate leader. A great statesman, Vajpayee was born in 1924 in Gwalior, he served three terms as the prime minister of India - first for a term of 13 days in 1996, then for 13 months from 1998 to 1999 and after that a full term from 1999 to 2004 .”she added.
