Jammu, Dec 25: A function was organised by Department of Agriculture at Panchayat Jadh zone Bomal Sub Div Akhnoor in which progressive farmers and panches of panchyat participated along with Sarpanch Des Raj. The function was organised in which the 7th installment of PM Kissan nidhi scheme of Govt of India was transferred directly into the accounts of farmers by the Prime minister Narendra Modi. The scheme benefit's 9 crore farmers of the country and amount of Rs 18000 crore was transferred directly to farmers account on one click by Prime minister. The PM kissan scheme was launched in year 2019 for the benefit of farming community of the country. Beside this the officers of the department briefed the farmers about the various schemes of the department and recommended various pest and weed control measures for the crops like wheat, mustard and gram. The function was organised on the directions of Director Agriculture Inderjeet Singh, CAO A S Reen, SDAO S K Bhat and Aeo Bomal Jatinder Singh. The officers present on the occasion include Jaswinder Singh AEA, Anil Gupta, AEA, Rakesh Sharma, AEA, Vishal Sharma, AEA and Vishal Manhas, AEA. |
