Killing of Hindu goldsmith in Srinagar not mere act of terror: Brig Gupta 1/2/2021 11:35:09 PM EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Jan 2: The broad daylight murder of a Hindu goldsmith in busy Amirakadal of Srinagar cannot be brushed aside merely as another act of desperation by the Pakistan backed terrorists but is a direct assault on the concept of One India One Nation, stated Brig Veteran Anil Gupta Spokesperson of Bharatiya Janata Party. In a press release issued here today Brig Gupta has said that apart from gross human right violation of the minorities in Kashmir the dastardly act of the terror outfit The Resistance Front (TRF) is a challenge of the idea of India which is symbolised by Sarva Dharma Sama Bhava, the tenet of secularism in India. In India we embrace all religions but it is a matter of concern and shame that the leaders of self-proclaimed secular parties in Kashmir have once again failed to condemn Pakistan and its proxy TRF whose self-styled commander Hamza has openly threatened any Indian National harbouring intention of settling in Kashmir as ‘an agent of RSS’ and would be eliminated. The reason for killing the Hindu goldsmith is stated to be purchase of a shop by him after obtaining the domicile certificate which is a clear misrepresentation of facts since the two are not inter-linked. The Indian nation can no longer afford the third division on the basis of religion and succumb to the pressure groups in Kashmir promoting exclusivist-supremacist doctrine of “only my way is the right way” and those who do not subscribe to “my way” are not deserving to live here asserted Brig Gupta. The killing is a warning to those original inhabitants of the Valley who want to return to their homeland but also to those who may be wanting to settle here post abrogation of 370/35A.
