Dharmarth Trust employees’ chain hunger strike enters 6th day

JAMMU, Jan 2: Continued their ongoing chain hunger strike on sixth day, a large number of employees of Dharmarth Trust on Saturday assembled at Ranbireshwar Temple demanding constitution of Board for all the temples under Dharmarth Trust on the pattern of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board. Those who sat on the chain hunger strike on the sixth day included Om Prakash, Kuldeep Singh, Surjeet Singh, Ashwani Kumar, Brijpal Singh, Rajinder Kumar, Sukeshani Kumari, Anju Sharma, Sheetal Jamwal and Pawan Kumar. Address to the gathering, Working President Rajinder Shastri warned that LG administration to intervene in the matter at the earliest otherwise employees association expedite the agitation. The employees association further decided to launch the signature campaigning to garner the support of the public in ongoing agitation. Rajender Shastri also appealed to social, political, religious and civil organizations to come forward for the cause of preserving Dogra heritage and religious places in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir so that tourism is promoted in the UT.
Rajender Shastri also appealed to all the Sanatan religious people to attend the convention to be held at Geeta Bhawan on January 3, 2021 from 12:00 Noon and putforth their views for preserving the heritage and historical temples in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir
Meanwhile, under Jan Jagran Abhiyan, a delegation of Dharmarth trust employees led by Working President Rajender Shastri met with ex-Bar President, Advocate Abhinav Sharma and National Organizer Shiv Sena, Gulab Chand Dubey and handed over a memorandum to them highlighting their demands in detail.
They assured that they will do their level best in solving the issue.
Gulab Chand Dubey also visited the protest venue and extended full support to the agitating employees for their cause.
