DDC Rajouri reviews progress in key sectors under Capex Budget

RAJOURI, Jan 2: District Development Commissioner Rajouri, Mohammad Nazir Sheikh on Saturday convened a meeting of the concerned officers to review the performance of PWD, Jal Shakti and I&FC Departments under the District Capex Budget for the year 2020-21.
The meeting was attended by Chief Planning Officer, Mohammad Khurshid; Superintending Engineer, Jal Shakti, S R Shukla; Executive Engineer, PWD Rajouri, Mohd Zubair; Executive Engineer, PWD Nowshera, Prem Kapoor; Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti Rajouri, Mushtaq Ahmed; Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Nowshera, HS Bahal; Executive Engineer I&FC Rajouri, Sageer Malik and Assistant Director Planning, Mohammad Rafi.
The DDC took a detailed stock of the physical and financial achievements on the projects being executed by PWD, Jal Shakti and I&FC Departments in the district. Issues pertaining to the execution of works on these projects were also discussed in detail.
The concerned Executive Engineers were asked to speed up the work on the projects and mobilise men and machinery to ensure their timeline completion for providing early benefits to the people.
The DDC also asked the concerned officers to bring in his notice issues, if any, impeding the progress of the developmental works so that the same can be resolved to avoid any hiccups.
The DDC also directed to keep in consideration the requisite health advisories and SOPs against COVID at the construction sites. He also stressed on regular field visits by the officers to ensure works are executed on time and by following set quality parameters.
