Reasi , Jan 2: A daily wager lineman of Power Development Department on Saturday died of electrocution in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Police sources here said that a lineman identified as Gajje Singh of Village Judda, Reasi suffered an electric shock while repairing a fault.
The lineman and workers union have expressed grief over unfortunate death of a colleague.
Union leader Anil Singh Slathia have demanded compensation for the NoKs of the deceased lineman and also safety measures to prevent such accidents. |
