Mehbooba a ‘bundle of lies’, misleading people over BJP-PDP alliance: Parneesh
1/2/2021 11:39:07 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Jan 2: Terming the former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti as ‘bundle of lies’, Parneesh Mahajan, Convener Department of Training, BJP, J&K, today accused the PDP President of misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
“It was the BJP which left the coalition government in the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir due to anti-national policies of People’s Democratic Party (PDP),” Mahajan said in a statement issued here.
“The previous PDP-BJP coalition government had fallen off in June 2018 after the saffron party withdrew support from the PDP, leading to imposition of Governor’s rule followed by President’s rule,” he said.
Contesting claims of the last Chief Minister of the erstwhile State, the BJP leader said that it was the BJP which decided to move out of the coalition and not the otherwise as Mufti has been claiming.
“Mehbooba Mufti has been reduced to a bundle of lies. She has been misleading the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the coalition fallout when everyone in the entire country knows what had happened in the summer of 2018,” Mahajan said, adding that the decision to end the alliance was taken "keeping in mind the larger interest of India's security and integrity."
"Fact is that J&K is an integral part of India. In order to bring control over the situation prevailing in the state the Central leadership has decided that the reigns’ of power in the state be handed over to the Governor," he said.
Mahajan said, “The BJP had left the coalition due to anti-national policies which the PDP was attempting to further upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir.”
“The truth is that both the PDP and Mehbooba Mufti have lost their relevance in Jammu and Kashmir. She is trying to regain lost ground in the Valley by issuing such irrelevant and baseless statements,” he lashed out.
