Terror funding case: Two Jammu based young PDP leaders likely to face music
1/4/2021 12:27:39 AM
Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 3: On-going interrogation of Waheed-ur-Rehman Parra, the arrested close-aide of former chief minister, Mehbooba Mufti’s by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) has spilled many beans with exposure of the names many PDP leaders in the terror funding and money laundering cases.
While as other close-aides of Mehbooba Mufti are already detained or questioned by the central agencies, two Jammu based youth leaders are also under scanner who are Parra’s henchmen in this part of the Union Territory (UT).
Reliable sources told the Early Times said that agencies have already called one of the Jammu based henchmen of Parra for questioning as he is considered as the closest-confident of arrested PDP’s youth wing president.
“For the last five years this youth leader of PDP has been working as an informer of Parra in Jammu as he has been assigned the job to share all important information with him (Parra)”, sources said and added that after arrest of Parra this leader was under the radar of agencies. “This youth leader of the PDP was called by agencies for informal questioning because his name was reportedly revealed by Parra during questioning”, sources said and added that this leader was proactive on many controversial issues to exhibit his loyalty towards Parra.
Unconfirmed reports said that fearing action of the agencies after arrest of Parra, this leader has gone to Delhi along with other leaders in support of agitating farmers.
Reliable sources further said that another youth leader, who is also close-aide of Parra in Jammu, has switched off his phone after central agencies detained Sartaj Madni and Peerzada Mansoor. “Infamous for giving communal speeches this leader has gone underground for the last one week due to fear of arrest”, sources said.
