AIMCCC organises award distribution function at Jagti

JAMMU, Jan 29: All India Migrant Camp Coordination Committee (AIMCCC)held an award distribution function at Jagti township near Lane No 26 park under the chaimanship of Desh Rattan Pandita on the sidelines of 72nd Republic day celebrations here today.
People from all walks of life participated in the function. Prominent among those which include spiritual guru Swami Kumar ji from Geeta satsang ashram Muthi, adv.Ankur Sharma , president Ikkjut party, sr.journalist Shiban Khebry, B K Raina, P L Bhat and Kamal Koul.
The visiting guests who graced the occasion include Dr.Roshan Lal Pandita , chairman PNBMT, S K Koul secretary PNBMT, Advocate Kashmiri Lal and Daljeet Singh.
During the function awards were given to Prem Nath Shad ,a prominent Kashmiri poet and writer Kulwant Singh for their meritorious work in the field of literature. Others who were also selected for the awards by the core committee of AIMCCC include J L Raina , Raj Kumar Koul,Anil Kumar Mehta,Mella Misri,Priya Dhar and Anjali Tickoo.The award recipants have worked effortlessly for organisation and KP community with honesty and dedication said Desh Rattan .
Prizes were also distributed among 22 children by dignitaries on the occasion. Netra Tikoo's performance was super and the kids also diverted the attention of audience towards their performance. P.K.Raina managed stage work. The program began with the recitation of holy sholakas of Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta ji .At the end the organization hailed the support of inmates of Jagti camp who whole heartedly participated in the function from early in the morning.
