Of 704 sanctioned posts, 330 vacant in Marwah: Admin tells HC

jammu, Jan 29: District administration Kishtwar has informed the High Court that, 330 are lying vacant in Marwah.
In response to the Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filled by political and social activist from Marwah Ghulam Rasool Magrey through advocate Faheem Shokat Butt, the district administration submitted in the High Court that out of 704 sanctioned posts for Marwah, 330 posts are laying vacant while only 374 employees are available against the sanctioned posts.
Out of the filled 374 posts in the Sub Division, 266 employees are the local inhabitants of Marwah Sub Division.
As per the details available with Early Times, out of sanctioned 123 posts in Health Department, 55 posts are filled including 38 local employees while 68 posts are laying vacant in the health department.
In PWD special Sub Division Marwah, out of 101 sanctioned posts, 48 posts are filled up including 36 local employees while 55 posts are still laying vacant.
In Agriculture Department, out of 49 sanctioned posts, only 10 posts including one local employee are filled up while 39 posts in the department are lying vacant.
In Education Department, out of 47 sanctioned posts, only 13 posts, including 10 local employees are filled while 34 posts in the department are lying vacant.
In Sheep Husbandry department, out of 49 sanctioned posts, only 20 posts including 16 local employees are filled up while 29 posts in the department are lying vacant.
In Animal Husbandry department, out of 61 sanctioned posts, only 25 posts including 14 local employees are filled up while 36 posts in the department are lying vacant.
In Jal Shakti (PHE) department, out of 53 sanctioned posts, 51 posts including 48 local employees are filled up while only 2 posts in the department are lying vacant.
In Forest Department, all the 71 sanctioned posts are filled up which include 59 local employees.
In RDD department, out of 80 sanctioned posts, only 39 posts including 20 local employees are filled up while 41 posts in the department are lying vacant.
Similarly, in Social Welfare Department, out of 4 sanctioned posts, only one post is lying vacant, in Handloom Department out of 4 sanctioned posts three area lying vacant, in ICDS out of 26 sanctioned posts' 12 posts are laying vacant.
In addition to above mentioned details, the charge of three vacant posts of block ICDS officer has been assigned to BDO Marwah, Warwan and Dachhan respectively.
